Optek / TT Electronics OPR5200 & OPR5500 GaAIAs LEDs

Optek / TT Electronics OPR5200 and OPR5500 GaAIAs LEDs are housed in a high-temperature polyamide chip carrier for space-limited applications with close channel spacing. The Optek / TT Electronics OPR5200 and OPR5500 (miniature phototransistor) offer a lateral mounting option to create a non-focused reflective or slotted switch configuration. These components can be easily placed using standard SMD equipment and reflow soldered using conventional methods. Wraparound contacts allow face-up or edge mounting, enabling a beam direction parallel to the seating plane.
