Renesas Electronics RAA2P452x Automatic Inductive Position Sensors

Renesas Electronics RAA2P452x Automatic Inductive Position Sensors are magnet-free sensors that can be used for absolute rotary, linear, or arc position sensing in automotive applications. These sensors work on the principle of eddy currents to detect the position of a simple metallic target that is moving above the sensing coil sets. The RAA2P452x position sensor ICs feature two sets of receiver coils, allowing them to measure two independent positions or operate in a high-resolution configuration. These sensors are cost-effective, suitable for harsh environments and high temperatures, and programmable through a single-wire UART.
