Powered by a high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M33 core running at 160MHz and equipped with 704KB of SRAM, the RA6W1 offers robust processing capabilities and ample memory for demanding embedded applications. A comprehensive security suite includes features such as eXecute in Place (XiP) with on-the-fly decryption, True Random Number Generator (TRNG), AES-256 encryption, secure key storage, and secure boot, ensuring data integrity and device protection.

Designed with future-proofing in mind, the RA6W1 is Matter Ready and Matter Certified, aligning with the latest IoT standards to support long-term compatibility and regulatory compliance. Integration is seamless thanks to a rich set of peripherals, including UART, SPI, I2C, SDIO, PWM, I2S, and GPIOs.

Optimized for low-power operation, the Renesas RA6W1 supports multiple power-saving modes, including “sleepy connected” functionality that enables ultra-low latency and instant responsiveness while maintaining minimal energy consumption, ideal for battery-powered and energy-efficient devices.
