NXP Semiconductors TJA1121 MACsec Ethernet PHY Transceiver

NXP Semiconductors TJA1121 MACsec 1000BASE-T1 Ethernet PHY Transceiver provides an efficient HW-based solution for MACsec at a 1Gbps line rate and addresses the security concerns for future networks. To enable speed-grade scaling for platform designs with and without MACsec, the TJA1121 is kept drop-in compatible with TJA1103, TJA1104, and TJA1120. The device comes in a compact package HVQFN36 (6mm x 6mm) for space-constrained use cases.

NXP Semiconductors TJA1121 is designed according to ISO 26262 to meet ASIL B and complies with all state-of-the-art conformance test specifications, providing enhanced monitoring and diagnostic features. Further, it integrates OPEN Alliance TC-10 compliant wake-up forwarding over the Ethernet data line. It supports shielded (STP) and unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable applications.
