Texas Instruments LP5815 3-Channel I2C Interface RGBW LED Driver
Texas Instruments LP5815 3-Channel I2C Interface RGBW LED Driver has an autonomous animation engine control and a controllable Instant Blinking feature. The device has an ultra-low operation current of 0.1µA (typ.) in shutdown mode, 0.1mA (typ.) when enabling the device, and 0.2mA (typ.) when illuminating LEDs.The Texas Instruments LP5815 uses analog and PWM dimming methods to achieve powerful performance. The output current of each LED can be adjusted in 256 steps from 0.1mA to 25.5mA or 0.2mA to 51mA. The 8-bit PWM generator enables audible-noise-free and smooth dimming control for LED brightness.
The autonomous animation engine can significantly reduce the controller's real-time loading. The related registers allow each LED to be configured to realize vivid and fancy lighting effects. The Instant Blinking via STAT pin control feature can provide automatic blinking on the OUT0 channel without I2C communication after powering up.
