Siemens SITOP RED1200 Redundancy Modules

Siemens SITOP RED1200 80A Redundancy Modules are an ideal extension for power supplies, ensuring additional protection from a failure of the control voltage. The RED1200 is a rugged add-on module that decouples power supply units with output voltages from 10V to 58V and up to 40A current. The redundancy module decouples the feeding power supply units. If one unit fails, the other one automatically takes over the DC supply. Siemens SITOP RED1200 Redundancy Modules compensate for the missing signal function when power supplies with diagnostic signals are used. If a fault occurs, the signal from the defective power supply remains off. The error message is still generated.

Features

  • Decouples two SITOP power supplies of the same type from each other in parallel mode via diodes
