SparkFun FTDI Starter Kits

SparkFun FTDI Starter Kits are designed to get started with the FTDI FT232RL USB to serial IC. The KIT-18289 starter kit operates at 3.3V and the KIT-18290 starter kit operates at 5V. The pinout of the boards matches the FTDI cable standard to work with official Arduino and cloned 3.3V/5V Arduino boards. The FTDI kits feature the DTR pin to allow an Arduino target to auto-reset when a new Sketch is downloaded. These breakouts are also designed to increase the ease of use and the kits include USB 2.0 Type B to Mini-B 5-pin black cable.
