TDK InvenSense MOD_CH101 Distance Sensor Module
TDK InvenSense MOD_CH101 Distance Sensor Module is designed for the rapid integration of Chirp’s CH101 ultrasonic Time-of-Flight (ToF) range sensor. This sensor module is mainly functional for prototyping and small-scale production in applications that are not extremely space-constrained. The MOD_CH101 module’s electronic interface is a standard 8-pin Flat Flex Cable (FFC) connector. This distance sensor module includes an omnidirectional acoustic housing with a 0.7mm diameter acoustic port and a 5.3mm outer diameter. The MOD_CH101 module is fast and provides accurate range measurements to targets at distances ranging from 4cm to 1.2m. This MOD_CH101 module integrates programmable modes that are optimized for medium- and short-range sensing applications.The MOD_CH101 distance sensor module operates at 1.8V single supply voltage and -40° to +85°C temperature range. This MOD_CH101 features a low-power microcontroller running advanced ultrasound firmware, customizable Field-of-View (FoV) up to 180°, and works in sunlight and other lighting. The sensor module is available in an 8mm x 8mm x 3.57mm PCBA package with a 1-hole lid opening. Typical applications include augmented and virtual reality, drones and robotics, mobile and computing devices, obstacle avoidance, printers and scanners, and proximity sensing.
