Texas Instruments AFE5816EVM/AFE5818EVM Evaluation Modules (EVMs)

Texas Instruments AFE5816EVM/AFE5818EVM Evaluation Modules (EVMs) are highly integrated Analog Front-End (AFE) solutions specifically designed for ultrasound systems in which high performance and small size are required. These evaluation modules integrate a complete time-gain-control (TGC) imaging path and a continuous wave Doppler (CWD) path. They also enable users to select one of various power/noise combinations to optimize system performance. This makes the AFE5816EVM and AFE5818EVM suitable ultrasound analog front end solutions not only for high-end systems but also for portable systems. These evaluation modules require and connect with the TSW1400EVM for LVDS data capture and evaluation. The TSW1400EVM is purchased separately and requires the HSDCPro software to function.
