Texas Instruments bq25601/bq25601D Single Cell 3A Battery Chargers are highly-integrated 3A switch-mode battery charge management and system power path management devices. Each device is designed for single-cell Li-Ion and Li-polymer batteries. The low impedance power path optimizes the switch-mode operation efficiency, reduces the battery charging time, and extends battery life during discharging phase. The I2C serial interface with charging and system settings makes the device a truly flexible solution.The Texas Instruments bq25601/bq25601D features fast charging with high input voltage support for a wide range of smartphones, tablets, and portable devices. The input voltage and current regulation deliver maximum charging power to the battery. These devices are highly integrated with input reverse-blocking FET and high-side switching FET. This solution also includes a low-side switching FET and a battery FET between the system and battery. The device integrates the bootstrap diode for the high-side gate drive for a simplified system design.
