Texas Instruments LMX2572EVM RF Synthesizer Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments LMX2572EVM 6.4GHz Low Power Wideband RF Synthesizer with Phase Synchronization and JESD204B Support is a platform for evaluating the performance of the LMX2572. The LMX2572 is a low-power, high-performance wideband synthesizer generating any frequency from 13MHz to 6.4GHz without needing an internal doubler. Ideal performance is achieved through the PLL, consuming a small 75mA from a single 3.3V supply. The JESD204B standard, which generates or repeats the SYSREF signal, makes it ideal for clocking high-speed data converters. The designer can synchronize the output phase across multiple LMX2572 devices by providing a SYNC signal. The Texas Instruments LMX2572EVM can demonstrate a frequency ramp generated via the LMX2572 synthesizer. The serial interface can be configured as an SPI or I2S interface supporting direct digital FSK modulation. The included USB programming module provides a clean reference clock while simultaneously programming the LMX2572EVM RF Synthesizer Evaluation Module.
