Texas Instruments LV14540 Step-Down Converter
Texas Instruments LV14540 Step-Down Converter offers an integrated high-side MOSFET and a wide input range of 4V to 40V. The LV14540 has been developed for various industrial and automotive applications, utilizing power conditioning from unregulated sources. The adjustable switching frequency range enables either efficiency or optimized external component size. Internal loop compensation minimizes the external components of the 40V, 5A, 2MHz LV14540. The precision enable input provides simplification of regulator control and system power sequencing. The TI LV14540 Step-Down Converter has built-in protection qualities such as cycle-by-cycle current limit, thermal sensing, shutdown due to excessive power dissipation, and output overvoltage protection.
