Texas Instruments SN74AXC8T245EVM Evaluation Module for Direction-Controlled Bidirectional Translation Device is designed to support the 8-channel SN74AXC8T245. The layout is optimized for high-speed connectivity, with another feature for populating 1, 2, and 4-channel LVC and AVC direction-controlled translation devices. Three translation device choices include AXC, AVC, and LVC. The LVC has a higher voltage than the AXC and AVC, with a 1.65V to 5.5V output and a drive strength of 32mA. The AVC offers a lower drive strength of 12mA, and the AXC operates from 0.65V to 3.6V with 12mA drive strength. The Texas Instruments SN74AXC8T245EVM has an available high-speed SMB connector.
