Texas Instruments TCAN1473-Q1 Automotive CAN Interface IC

Texas Instruments TCAN1473-Q1 Automotive CAN Interface IC is a Controller Area Network (CAN) transceiver that meets the physical-layer requirements of ISO 11898-2:2024. This CAN IC incorporates Signal Improvement Capability (SIC) functionality. The TCAN1473-Q1 device reduces signal ringing at dominant-to-recessive edges and enables higher throughput in complex network topologies. The SIC enables applications to fully leverage CAN Flexible Data-rate (CAN FD), supporting 2Mbps, 5Mbps, and 8Mbps operation, even across large networks with numerous unterminated stubs. The TCAN1473-Q1 IC is pin-compatible with a 14-pin single-channel CAN FD transceiver. The TCAN1473-Q1 device is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications. This CAN Interface IC is ideal for body electronics, lighting, automotive gateways, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), infotainment and cluster, personal transport vehicles, and industrial transportation.
