Texas Instruments THVD24x9 Half-Duplex RS-485 Transceivers
Texas Instruments THVD24x9 Half-Duplex RS-485 Transceivers come with integrated surge protection, achieved by integrating transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diodes in the standard 8-pin SOIC and the small 10-pin VSON package. This feature increases reliability by providing better immunity to noise transients coupled to the data cable, eliminating the need for external protection components.Texas Instruments THVD2419 is in the standard pin-out SOIC package and operates from a single 3.3V or 5V supply. In addition, THVD2429 comes in a 10-pin VSON package to support an additional VIO supply to operate the IOs from as low as 1.65V supply level. Each device has a wide common-mode voltage range, making it suitable for multi-point applications over long cable runs.
