Texas Instruments TPSM84209EVM-014 2.5A Power Evaluation Module

Texas Instruments TPSM84209EVM-014 4.5V to 28V Input, 1.2V to 6V Output, 2.5A Power Evaluation Module is a platform for evaluating the ease and performance of the TPSM84209 power module with a current up to 2.5A. A PCB layout is used that increases thermal performance and decreases output noise. The Texas Instruments TPSM84209EVM-014 offers input and output capacitors that facilitate an input voltage range of 4.5V to 28V and a 1.2V to 6V output voltage range. Test points monitor and measure efficiency, power dissipation, input ripple, output ripple, line and load regulation, and transient response. The provided control test point controls the ENABLE feature, and component footprints are incorporated for UVLO resistors with added input and output capacitors.
