Texas Instruments UCC12041-Q1 Automotive 3kVrms Isolated DC/DC Module has a 3kVRMS basic isolation rating designed to provide efficient, isolated power to isolated circuits requiring a bias supply a well-regulated output voltage. The UCC12041-Q1 integrates a transformer and DC/DC controller with a proprietary architecture to provide 500mW (typical) of isolated power with low EMI.The TI UCC12041-Q1 Automotive 3kVrms DC/DC Module provides protection features for increased system robustness. The device also has an enable pin, synchronization capability, and regulated 5V or 3.3V output options with headroom.
The UCC12041-Q1 is ideal for applications that have limited board space and require more integration. These devices are also suitable for very-high voltage applications, where power transformers meeting the required isolation specifications are bulky and expensive.
The UCC12041-Q1 offers a low-profile, miniaturized solution in a wide-body SOIC package with 2.65mm height (typical).
