Vishay eSMP® SlimSMA Fast Recovery Rectifiers are state-of-the-art devices designed specifically for optimized performance of the forward voltage drop and hyperfast recovery time. These Vishay eSMP Fast Recovery Rectifiers feature planar structure and platinum doped lifetime control for high performance, ruggedness, and reliability. These are intended for use in snubber, boost, lighting, and piezo-injection applications such as high-frequency rectifiers and freewheeling diodes. Also, the extremely low profile of the SlimSMA DO-221AC package and 2A to 3A forward current rating provides the high current density needed for space-constrained applications. These devices are available with Standard and AEC-Q101 ratings.
