The AMD Versal AI Edge VEK280 kit, available from Mouser, enables the evaluation and development of the Versal™ AI Edge series-based applications with various high-speed connectivity options and hardware acceleration engines for AI Engine-Machine Learning (AIE-ML) and DSP. The VEK280 board offers reduced latency, enhanced compute performance, and increased integration for advanced sensor fusion and AI algorithms using a scalable device portfolio catering to different performance and power requirements from edge to endpoint. The VEK280 board features 12 GB (6x 2 GB, 32-bit), 192-bit LPDDR4 component with an integrated video decoder unit that supports H.264/H.265 and HDMI 2.1 video input and output.
