The Ezurio Nitrogen8ULP SoM, now available at Mouser, is powered by NXP Semiconductors' i.MX 8ULP processors, featuring dual Arm® Cortex®-A35 cores and an Arm Cortex-M33. This architecture allows the module to run Linux on the Cortex-A35 cores and FreeRTOS on the Cortex-M33 core.
The Nitrogen8ULP SoM includes a Fusion digital signal processor (DSP) for low-power audio processing, a HiFi4 DSP for advanced audio and machine learning tasks, and additional coprocessors for efficient DSP and cryptographic functionalities. The module supports a range of high-speed connectivity options and provides interfaces for data, network, display, and camera. In addition, the Nitrogen8ULP offers 20 different power modes to optimize energy consumption. The Nitrogen8ULP features a compact form factor of 51 mm × 32 mm and supports a broad temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
