With support for the full suite of BLE features and other popular communications protocols, the nRF54L15-DK is an ideal solution for a variety of wireless applications, including Industrial Internet of Things (IoT), virtual and augmented reality (AR/VR), asset tracking, smart home products, and medical applications.
With the onboard NRF54L system-on-chip (SoC), the nRF54L15-DK supports BLE, Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Zigbee®, 2.4GHz proprietary protocols (up to 4Mbps), and Matter. Matter is an industry-unifying, IP-based connectivity protocol that streamlines building IoT applications while allowing seamless integration into a variety of ecosystems for industrial automation, consumer electronics, smart agriculture, and more.
The nRF54L15-DK is supported by a comprehensive set of nRF Connect tools and has support in the nRF Connect software development kit (SDK). Developers can explore the full potential of the nRF54L15 SoC using the extensive range of software samples, modules, and libraries available within the nRF Connect SDK.
The nRF54L15-DK also features 8 MB of external memory, an onboard nPM1300 power management IC (PMIC), 2.4GHz and NFC antennas, a SEGGER J-Link OB programmer/debugger and a USB connection for debugging, programming, and power. Pins are available for measuring power consumption, and an SWF RF connector enables direct RF measurements.
