The spectral sensor chip enables more precise spectral measurements and higher light sensitivity in a miniature 3.1 mm × 2.0 mm × 1.0 mm LGA package ideal for mobile devices.

The ams AS7341 is an 11-channel spectrometer for spectral identification and color matching applications in mobile devices. The spectral response is defined in the wavelengths from approximately 350 nm to 1000 nm. The device can process six channels in parallel by independent analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) while the other channels are accessible via a multiplexer.
