SparkFun Haptic Motor Driver Evaluation Board
SparkFun Haptic Motor Driver Evaluation Board is designed to evaluate the DRV2605L haptic driver using the breakout and an Arduino-compatible device. The DRV2605L device is a low-voltage haptic driver which includes a haptic-effect library and provides a closed-loop actuator-control system for high-quality. DRV2605L can drive two different types of motors: Eccentric Rotating Mass (ERM) and Linear Resonance Actuator (LRA). The DRV2605L ERM-type motors are the default firmware for the device, and the Arduino library makes the device easy to use with six different ERM effects and one LRA effect. This haptic motor driver board includes six pins to power the sensor and I2C bus. The motor driver board features hardware trigger input, built-in waveform sequencer and trigger, audio to vibe, and PWM input with 0-100% duty-cycle control range.Features
- Flexible haptic and vibration driver for both ERM and LRA-type motors
- I2C-controlled digital playback engine
- Audio to vibe
- PWM input with 0–100% duty-cycle control range
- Hardware trigger input
- Built-in waveform sequencer and trigger
- 2V to 5.2V input
- 10.4V output
