Texas Instruments DRV8847xEVM Driver Evaluation Modules (EVMs)

Texas Instruments DRV8847xEVM Driver Evaluation Modules (EVMs) are each an application board designed to allow easy evaluation of the DRV8847 or DRV8847S. These devices are an integrated low voltage dual H-bridge driver and highly-configurable power stage for industrial brushed DC, stepper motor, and solenoid applications. These devices have been optimized to control one or two brushed DC motors, a stepper motor, or solenoid loads. The Texas Instruments DRV8847xEVM each have an MSP430™ microcontroller and a USB interface chip to communicate with the application GUI provided with the evaluation module. The maximum operating voltage for both boards is 18V with a maximum current of 2A (if set to parallel mode).

Features

  • 2.7V to 18V operating voltage range
  • 1A RMS driver current / 2A RMS driver current in parallel mode
  • I2C communication (DRV8847SEVM only)
