Texas Instruments ESD501/ESD501-Q1 Low Capacitance ESD Diode
Texas Instruments ESD501/ESD501-Q1 Low Capacitance ESD Diode is offered in the industry standard 0402 (DFN1006) package and provides an IEC 61000-4-2 protection level of 15kV. The device can clamp 8/20µs surges with peak pulse currents up to 3A in accordance with the IEC 61000-4-5 standard.
The low capacitance and low leakage current help ensure protection against transient events in various systems and applications. This protection is key for many applications, such as smaller form factors and faster data speeds, which are becoming more popular over time. The Texas Instruments ESD501-Q1 devices are AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
