Texas Instruments TMDS171RGZEVM TMDS Retimer Evaluation Module
Texas Instruments TMDS171RGZEVM TMDS Retimer Evaluation Module (EVM) is a PCB created to help customers evaluate the TMDS171 device for video applications with HDMI interfaces. The TMDS171 is a 3.4Gbps TMDS Retimer for digital video interface (DVI) or high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI). This evaluation module can also be used as a hardware reference design to implement the Texas Instruments TMDS171 in the RGZ package.
Features
- Plug and Play design
- Three devices enable/reset options to use with the evaluation module
- Access to TMDS171's local I2C signals is provided via the J5 input connector
- A DC Power Jack (J9) to accept a 5V wall power adapter
- It is also possible to power the evaluation module by connecting a USB Micro cable from J13 to a USB host and setting SW2 to position 3
- Configuration available through jumpers
