Texas Instruments TPS54240EVM-VSON Converter Evaluation Module (EVM) is an evaluation module designed to evaluate the TPS54240. The TPS54240 is a step-down buck converter with Eco-mode control, which can provide high efficiency at light loads. It has a wide switching-frequency range that optimizes efficiency and external component size. The Texas Instruments TPS54240EVM-VSON is designed for the VSON package. The switching frequency is internally set at a nominal 500kHz. The high-side MOSFET and gate-drive circuitry are incorporated inside the TPS54240 package. The absolute maximum input voltage is 42V for the TPS54240EVM-VSON.
