RS485 Connector Expansion Shield

DFRobot RS485 Connector Expansion Shield is designed to expand two parallel RS485 ports (terminal) with high reliability for LattePanda Alpha and Delta. This shield employs FTDI USB to serial port chip and features an industrial-grade isolated transceiver module. The RS485 connector expansion shield also features signal isolation, power isolation, lightning and surge protection, transient impulse voltage resistance, and bus protection. The bus protection supports reliable data transmission and can effectively protect the LattePanda mainboard for providing a high-reliability connection for point-to-point. This shield employs a stackable connection that allows it to be easily fixed onto the LattePanda mainboard. This is achieved by copper columns without blocking the heat dissipation area of the mainboard and can be safely applied in industrial scenarios.
