NXP Semiconductors PF7100 7-Channel PMIC for i.MX 8 Processors

NXP Semiconductors PF7100 7-Channel Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) is designed to be the primary power management building block for high-end multimedia application processors from the i.MX 8 series. The PF7100 is also capable of providing a power solution to the high-end i.MX 6 series and many non-NXP processors. The PF7100 features five high-efficiency buck converters and two linear regulators for powering the processor, memory, and miscellaneous peripherals.

The PF7100 includes built-in One-Time Programmable (OTP) memory, which stores key startup configurations, drastically reducing external components typically used to set output voltage and sequence of external regulators. Regulator parameters are adjustable through a high-speed I2C interface after startup, offering flexibility for different system states.

The NXP Semiconductors PF7100 PMIC is available in a 7mm x 7mm x 0.85mm HVQFN48 package with wettable flanks.
