Tekscan FlexiForce™ Prototyping Kit

Tekscan FlexiForce™ Prototyping Kit allows engineers and designers to plug a preferred circuit module (or modules), easily make sensitivity adjustments, and gain insight into how a FlexiForce sensor will behave in a user's prototype. The kit comes with three interchangeable analog circuit modules, and the resistor/capacitor values are easy to swap out. The open-source nature facilitates efficient progression to field testing and the final embedded design.

Features

  • Saves engineers and designers the effort of building circuitry and other components for a FlexiForce-embedded proof-of-concept or prototype
  • Interchangeable analog circuit modules allow users to test the functionality of the FlexiForce sensors with ease
  • Open-source software interface allows users to control loading, record sensor data, adjust sensitivity, and calibrate the sensor
  • Relative force feedback is displayed on the Prototyping Kit via a blue-to-red LED light
  • Sensitivity adjustment made programmable via the reference voltage and an on-board jumper easily selects the applied voltage
  • Resistor/capacitor values are easy to swap out
  • See instant feedback of sensor performance under different loading actuators and interfacing materials
  • RoHS compliant
